Welcome back Affordable creations by Mimi!

Hello everyone! There is only one more day left of August, and then September is here! That means less than a month until the show. It's sneaking up fast. I am still getting applications in, and still have some spaces open, so if you've been trying to decide whether to apply, now is the time.
We had Affordable Creations by Mimi join us at the last show, and there were a lot of oohs and ahhs over her furniture! She has a great eye for color and design, and had some very unique pieces. I have to admit that I have an addiction to furniture makeovers. I love it when beauty and function are joined together! I love seeing new life breathed into older pieces, that have a story and are now one of a kind, thanks to some hard work, a lot of talent, and some paint. Here are some lovely pictures of what Mimi has been working on. Make sure to look for her in the barn!

Fun Fall Plaques....

I have numerous projects in various states of completion right now, and have more ideas than I could possibly ever have time to finish before the show! I do have some wooden plaques done with some cute Halloween themed images. I won't have any furniture pieces in my booth this time, as I do not have an air conditioned space to paint in this time of year, and hubby won't be able to be here to help with this show. Since that is the case, I have been concentrating on collecting lots of fun vintage pieces, and making lots of hand crafted decor pieces. I will also have a lot of the felted and fabric flower brooches that I used to sell in my booth at Laura's Emporium. Well, here's a peek at my designs for the plaques!

Let's welcome back Hannah Long!

Sorry for the space between posts! I've been waiting on pics from the vendors, and managed to end up getting stitches on my left hand last Saturday. Everything is healing up well, and they come out the day after Labor day. Typing is a bit of a challenge, but I am making due!
Today's featured vendor is Hannah Long, who will be returning as a previous vendor. Her hand crafted jewelry makes me drool, and one could get lost staring into the marvelous organic surface treatment and patina of her metal pieces. You will truly be buying a one of a kind piece of art to treasure for years when you pick out one of her pieces! Here is some eye candy for all of you jewelry lovers! Welcome back Hannah!

Hello everyone! Hope your week has been going well. I am SO beyond ready for fall weather to arrive. Happy Saturday! Let's welcome back Cat Rosenlieb of Tarnished Angel Studio!

We have many returning vendors who are joining us, and working busily to create beautiful pieces and stunning displays! Cat of Tarnished Angel Studio is one of those. Cat will have vintage pieces, hand crafted jewelry, shabby-fied boots and clothing, and other mixed media designs. Cat will once again be under the covered barn, so be sure to stop in a see what she has to offer....but no fighting ladies! ( :

Another fabulous returning vendor: Jessica Mullins!

I had a short break from blogging while I slept off the effects of a small surgery I had on Friday, but am back at the wheel again! Today, I'd like to showcase Jessica Mullins, who was a vendor with us at the last show. Jessica refinishes and restores beautiful antique and vintage furniture pieces in varying styles, such as, farmhouse, shabby, and coastal finishes. Joining us again, is Lendy LaMonica of Bella Vintage Furnishings!

We had a great variety of handpainted vintage furniture at the last show, and that tradition will continue with the Sept. 20th show! I loved seeing how each artist added their own unique touch to their pieces and created furniture "art" that could be passed down through a family for years. So much of the furniture you see in stores right now, is made of cheap wood in factories, and won't last. Our vendors have solid wood, original, REAL VINTAGE pieces, at a great price.
Today's featured vendor is a pro at refurnishing and re-loving old, unique pieces of furniture, and I am so glad to have her joining us again! Lendy LaMonica is the artist behind Bella Vintage Furnishings, and she will have a large booth in the open air barn, in the same spot as last time. Come and check out her great selection, and pick out a piece to cherish for years! You can visit her online at www.bellavintagefurnishings.com Welcome back Lendy!

Today's featured artist is Stacie Williams of Azoho

Stacie is joining us as a new vendor, and I love the earthy, rustic feel of her jewelry. She hand creates her jewelry using age old metalsmithing techniques. Many of the stones in Azoho jewelry are hand cut by the artist. Her jewelry is easy to wear and easy to layer. Casual and comfortable. You can visit Stacie at www.azoho.com to see more of her jewelry. Welcome to the show Stacie!
