Happy Sunday! I'm headed off to church this morning, but wanted to let vendors know I will be sending out the set up details for the show this coming weekend by Monday evening. There will be a color ad in the Martin Co. newspaper (TCPalm) today, and also on Friday. I know everyone is working hard to prepare for the show, and are busier than Santa's Elves! I hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving! I'm grateful for our wonderful returning, and new vendors who make this show so fun! Thank you!

Welcoming back Mary Callaghan of Garden Trinkets!

Well, the weekend is winding down and I wanted to get a new post in before Monday hurls herself at me! We've been blessed to have many of our first vendors return to do the show again, and one of these is Mary Callaghan of Garden Trinkets. Mary creates beautiful garden art with repurposed china and glass housewares. Now that it is cooling down, this is the perfect time to give your yard an upgrade! Add some of Mary's sculptures to your garden and you will add some sparkle and uniqueness to your home. They look really pretty in the sunlight! Welcome back, Mary! We're happy to have you again!

Welcome Back Tarnished Angel Studio!

Hello vintage & art lovers! This gal is prepping to get up at the crack of dawn (actually, even BEFORE the crack) to drive 2.5 hrs to Mount Dora for the first antique extravaganza of the season. I'll be looking for some things to keep or use in my mixed media art & art dolls, and some goodies to bring back to sell at the show in Dec.  I'll be turning in early tonight and getting back late tomorrow, so I probably won't update until the weekend.
I'd like to welcome back Cat Rosenlieb, of Tarnished Angel Studio, to the show! She had such a beautiful booth at the last show and never fails to impress. She'll be on the end of the barn closest to where the food trucks are this time.  Cat is a multi-talented gal who loves making jewelry, accessories, refurbishing decor, and more. Here are some ornaments she plans to have at the show, and here are some pics of her booth from the last show. Welcome back, Cat! You can visit her facebook page and "Like" it to stay updated. Cooler weather is headed our way, and Tanya Wade of Dreads & Curls has just the right thing....

Happy Tuesday! Well, you should at LEAST be happy it isn't Monday, right? Another reason to be happy is that the weather here in South Florida is finally cooling down a bit. I am counting down the days until I have a day with no sweat! I'm a Minnesota/Wisconsin gal, so I am not a huge fan of the hot weather down here.
Today's new featured vendor is Tanya Wade of  Dreads & Curls. She creates and sells hand knit accessories for all seasons and weather, use mainly organic cotton, silks and wool fibers with vintage jewelry adornments and fixtures. She's also had her work featured in three books and Knitscene magazine. She makes scarves, cowls, wraps, and hats for the whole family. She also has some adorable collars in her Etsy shop that I fell in love with. Here are some pictures of her creations, and you can check out her Etsy store by clicking HERE. Welcome to the show, Tanya!

Meet Camille Staropoli of Then & Now Gallery in Jensen Beach, Florida

The weekend came and is nearly over. Boy that went fast. The bad news, is tomorrow is Monday. The good news, though, is that we have another vendor who is new to our event. Camille Staropoli and some other great vintage "pickers" from the Then & Now gallery in downtown Jensen Beach just joined the show!  If you are local and haven't stopped in at their store yet, it is ADORABLE! It has lots of vintage and repurposed, repainted, shabby-fied goodies to view. It's in a quaint area down by the intercoastal with cafes, restaurants, art galleries, and other cool places to check out.
Camille sent me a picture of the inside of the store, to give us an idea of what they may be bringing to the show Dec. 6th. Let's all give them a big welcome!

Another new vendor: Meet Tena Boas of Chipped and Cracked

Hello everyone! Thanks for stopping by to meet yet another featured vendor. Today's vendor is new to the show, and has some adorable creations with a Florida flair. Tena Boas of Chipped and Cracked will have repurposed items, distressed furniture, old windows, windchimes, home decor, and more at the Dec. 6th show. Below are just a few examples of her work. I love the table made from a window. So many fun possibilities of what you could put inside. Heck, you could change it up every month, for holidays, or to show off treasures gathered on your vacations. Welcome to the show, Tena!

Vendor contest!

Well, Halloween has come and gone, and all extra candy has been removed from my house. No more sneaking mini candy bars at 6:30 in the morning while I'm making breakfast! Be gone Baby Ruth! So long Butterfinger!  Thanksgiving is around the corner next and will come quickly. Hopefully not TOO quickly, as one has to have as many opportunities as possible to overdose on all things pumpkin. I'm a pumpkin addict, and have been known to request pumpkin pie instead of cake for my birthday. In other words, I LOVE PUMPKIN!  Something ELSE I love is getting free stuff! Vendors, Jessica and I have come up with a contest that will help our show continue to grow, and offer a prize to the person who most helps to do so.
Starting today, November 4th, we are posting a challenge. Whichever vendor who is accepted to the show, and who refers the most NEW vendors (either artists, crafters, vintage, antiques) who are also accepted, will get their 1 (one) booth space for the Dec. 6th show FREE!
SO...TELL YOUR FRIENDS! TELL YOUR FAMILY! We have one month left, and want this to be the biggest and best show yet! It will FINALLY be cooler out, and seasonal snowbirds will be back, and ready to do some Christmas shopping. When your referrals apply, ask them to mention your name in the application.
The person who has the most accepted referrals by Dec. 1st WINS!
ALSO...Starting tomorrow, Nov. 5th, I will start this round of blog featured vendors. We have some new talent to show off, along with your favorite returning vendors. Stop back in tomorrow for your first peak!
